As a nurse certifications are a must in order to stand out from the rest. Here is where you get an edge over other nurses who plainly passed the NLE. If you desire to take trainings and become certified with life support, here is a tip - Rescue Academy Basic Life Support (BLS) Training with American Heart Association (AHA) as scheduled this year, 2012. MORE INFORMATION:
The BLS program introduces fundamental concepts in first-level care to medical and paramedical hospital and clinical personnel, rescue and emergency response professionals, healthcare employees, and students of medical and allied medical fields. It provides training in adult, child, and infant CPR; AED operation; and foreign-body aspiration.
Course Objectives / What to Expect in the Training
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to
- understand the chain of survival;
- perform high-quality CPR for adult, child, and infant victims;
- operate an AED; and
- relieve choking.
